The tube lighting units iks aquastar luxus are made of
aluminium and fitted with dimmable, electronic ballast units. They
are available for the fluorescent tubes T5 and T8. In contrast to the tube
lighting units from numerous other manufacturers that require an additional
timer for switching off the tubes, iks aquastar luxus units can be operated
from 0 to 100% power. This function is made possible by an extra, internally
integrated electronic system. Dimming occurs via a low-voltage interface
such as the one provided in the iks aquastar SIMMOD module. A switch allows
the lighting to be set manually at any time to 100% for maintenance work
for example. As you can see, as is so often the case, the decisive difference
is in the little details.
The version iks aquastar lux is also equipped with
electronic ballast units, but this unit is not dimmable.
Both models
are of course waterproof, tested by the German TÜV and available
in a variety of wattages.
